Crazy antics and mixed up lives collide in this inventive farce. When adulterous goings-on are revealed within a trio of suburban married couples, the guilty pair invent a lame excuse which in turn requires a more elaborate cover-up.

Juggling time and space to present the dilemmas of the three troubled marriages, the action takes place at two dinner parties thrown on different nights - but on a single set, sometimes at the same time!

Laughter, love and utter confusion ensues in what is regarded as one of Alan Ayckbourn's best.
