What’s worse is that the comrades have not quite got to grips with the concept of pyjamas! As keeper of the Queen’s Collection , Anthony Blunt has a decidedly peculiar conversation with the Queen. As the pictures are given a ’scrub’ , so the layers are peeled away. It’s amazing what they reveal. Single Spies is Bennett at his best - slicing through the hypocrisy of British Society with a scalpel wrapped in velvet humour.
