GUNPOWDER

Shakespeare and his contemporaries were dramatists to some of England’s most conflicted times.  In the year that marks the 400^th Anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot, RSC Associate Director Gregory Doran has assembled an explosive season of political drama.  The Gunpowder Season productions will play in repertoire from Monday 14 November – Saturday 3 December at The People’s Theatre in Heaton.

The Gunpowder Season comprises five plays:

Believe What You Will
Sejanus: His Fall
Speaking like Magpies
