We've been refurbished!

As you may well know the theatre has been spruced up over the last few months.                                               

What's been done?

The refurbishment include new decoration (transforming the theatre from red to royal blue) and new carpets. As well as a refurbished Gulbenkian Gallery and refurbished auditorium toilets.

We've also had all 500 seats replaced!                                                      

Other refurbishments have taken place to non-public areas of the building.

When did all this happen?

The new refurbishment was started during our closed season, July and August and continued until October.

Work was underway during Shakers Restirred when most of the painting work had been completed.

The work continued as soon as Shakers had finished when the auditorium seats were removed and new seats installed (all taking place a matter of days before Amadeus started)

Paintwork was completed and a new theatre manager's desk  fitted after Amadeus had ended. Refurbished auditorium toilets were completed.

How was this funded?
